Rev. Larry G. Schneekloth, Ph.D., or Pastor Larry (he/him/his), is a life-long Lutheran who grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a degree in physics and math and worked as a physicist for three years before enrolling at Concordia Lutheran Seminary in Springfield, Illinois. (Pastor is an honorary alumnus of the Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago, LSTC.) After seminary, he earned a doctorate in Old Testament and Semitic languages at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has served as pastor of Markham Lutheran Church since 1973.

During his years in Markham, Pastor Larry has been active with other local ministers, including helping to establish Hope Community Services, which operated in the community for a number of years. Pastor Larry has also been named as one of the Markham chaplains. He is married to Rosemary and has two children and four young adult and teen grandchildren.
